I graduated from the City & Guilds Architectural Stone Carving Course, where I was introduced to letter carving. Thanks to the Lettering Arts Trust’s Journeyman Scheme, I went on to train with the renowned lettering artist John Neilson, before working as a self-employed letter carver in London. I am now based in Edinburgh and have found it exciting to work more with Scottish stone and discover new friends and places along the way. I find it particularly rewarding to work closely with clients to realise their vision. I also enjoy making personal works for exhibition and try to incorporate a more personal character to these pieces.
